Earth Island Institute presents: Green for Life, Produced by David Helvarg, Narrated by Peter Coyote.
“Green for Life” is a video documentary about the encounters and experiences of three generations of environmental activists at the UN Conferences on Environment and Development in Rio de Janiero, June 1992.
David Brower, 80, founder and chair of Earth Island Institute, has been an environmental campaigner for almost 60 years. He was the first executive director of the Sierra Club.
Juliette Majot, 35, is an analyst with the International Rivers Network in Berkeley, California. She began her active environmental career in Indiana fighting against the siting of a nuclear power plant.
Michael Dorsey, 21, a student at the University of Michigan and a member of the Student Environmental Action Coalition, was an official US delegate to the Rio Conference.
